Los Barrios de San Salvador

What do you have in your house?

  1. I really enjoyed this lesson. I didn't see a quiz option though - so if there was I would suggest making it a little easier to find.

  6. This just goes to show you that the World can be a very cruel place, it is also an eye opener to the many different experiences which people can have during the coarse of their lives.

  8. I agree with everyone else, this lesson was a real eye opener. It made me stop and think about just how good some of us have it. It is so sad.

  9. This lesson made me more thankful for the things that I have, and made me realize all the little things many of us take for granted.

  10. Very informative once again and a great way to learn. I prefer this approach rather than reading from the book.

  11. THE VIDEO WAS REALLY INTERESTING. IT MAKES US REALIZE HOW WE SHOULD SERVE OTHERS WHO ARE IN NEED. THE WHOLE LESSON WAS HELPFUL, ESPECIALLY BY BEING ABLE TO CLICK ON THE WORDS THAT ARE IN RED, SO THAT WE CAN UNDERSTAND HOW TO SAY THEM AND THEIR MEANING.

  13. Goodness...
Ironically, as I was examining this page, a commercial for those Ferroh Rochet chocolate things came on. I feel guilty.
You know, I hate to sound like a bitch here, but truthfully, 90% of the world's problems would be solved if people just stopped having so many kids, and if the entire world adopted programs to keep thier populations down.

  14. The video was really sad but the lesson was useful and it was good that we could click on the words if we didn't know them.

  15. I liked the assignment overall. It really made me think how much I take things for granted. It was also good that we could learn some vocab at the same time by clicking on the words.

  16. It really makes you realize that the world we live in is so far different from the one so many more people live in. In a way it reminds me of the movie Metropolis

  17. I like being able to see what life is like in different countries. It is hard to believe how much we have and how different our customs are compared to other places. I like it a lot.

  18. Wow, thats really sad. You take more for granted than you realise. I like the mix up with these assignments it really helps some of the vocab stick.

  19. Without trying to sound to redundant this is extremly depressing to see how some people live in this world. I take for granted so many luxuries in my life, and I often forget how fortunate I am.
